What I'm Reading

Right now I'm reading Hunger by Michael Grant. I'm also listening to Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan.

Hunger is the sequel to Gone which I would also highly recommend. I'll post a book talk when I'm finished with the book. In Gone, we meet Sam and several of his classmates just as everyone in town who is age 15 or older vanishes. How will all the kids who are left handle everyday life with no parents, teachers, older siblings or older friends? What will they eat? Who will take care of them? And what will happen when they turn 15? Will they vanish like everyone else? And what will they do with the special powers they seem to be developing?

Lightning Thief is our October 3rd Brunch Bunch book club book. I'll post more when I'm done reading it.
